SALLIE TUCKER Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Tucker, 87, of Brinson were held Sunday afternoon, October 21 [1962] at 4 o'clock at the Brinson Methodist Church with Rev. John Hayes and Rev. David Cripps officiating. Mrs. Tucker died October 20 [1962] in Moultrie. She was a member of the Brinson Methodist Church and a beloved and well known resident of that city. Born in Concord, Fla. Feb 16, 1875 her husband was the late Thomas Joseph Tucker. She is survived by five sons, Dr. J. P. Tucker, Moultrie; Roy Tucker, Toccoa; Arthur Tucker, Morven; Harry F. Tucker, Thomasville and Fears T. Tucker, McGehee, Ark; a daughter Mrs. Myrtle King, Birmingham, Ala. and two sisters, Miss Margaret Bowen, Thomasville and Mrs. Mary Blank, Tallahassee, la. Those serving as active apllbearers were: John Watts, E. C. Durham, Harry King, W. C. Sims, Jr., Hardy Powell and John Bridges. Interment followed in Brinson Cemetery with Ivey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
