Formerly of Cherryfield, he was the son of the late Emerson K. Wilson and Harriet N. Wilson. He had been in ill health for some time. He was a graduate of Cherryfield Academy and recently attended his fiftieth class reunion. He married the former Miss Catherine Naomi Grafton, and September would have been their fiftieth wedding anniversary. He retired in 1937 as chief powerhouse engineer from Attapulgus Clay Company, after having moved to Attapulgus from Towson, Md. in 1919. He was a member of the Congregational Church and a former Mason. Surviving are his wife Catherine, three children, Emerson of Tallahassee, Fl., Mae of Jacksonville, Fl., and Hazel of Bainbridge, Ga., and several grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. F. D. Rogers of Wellesley, Ma, Mrs. G. T. Tupper of Brewer, Me., Mrs. Morris Campbell of Pontiac, Michigan, and Mrs. Hazel Snow of Winterhill, Ma. Funeral Services were held from the First Baptist Church on Thursday afternoon at three o'clock, with Dr. Lewis Wright, Rev. Frank Nalls, and Rev. Harcourt Walter officiating. Interment was in Oak City Cemetery. Pall bearers included J. C. Richardson, Ernest Smith, Jimmy Kane, H. H. Felty, F. Marian Miller, W. B. Miller, Jr., Harry C. Sidener, and Milton Woodbery. E. W. Cox and Sons in charge. Out of town people who attended the funeral included: Mr. and Mrs E. Ernest Smith, Jr. and Miss Mattie Lou Davis of Gainesville, Ga.; Miss Rheta Hoey and Mrs. Zelma Gunter of Baltimore, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Brewer of Blakely; Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
