WILLIAMS SEPT. 20, 1920 - NOV 19, 1997 Graveside services for Yates Kermit Williams, 77, of Thomasville, were Friday, Nov 21st, in Laurel Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Michael D. Stewart officiating. Pallbearers were Andy Snuggs, Tommy Owens, Jay Stout, Casey Kincaid, Randy Stewart, Robert Stewart, Steven Williams and Charles Williams, Jr. Mr. Williams died Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born in Colquitt, he was the son of the late Audrey Yates and Oscar James Williams. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He retired in public relations with Davis Industries. He was a member of Thomasville Masonic Lodge #369 VFW Post 4904 in Bainbridge and Dawson Street Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother Charles Williams. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stewart Williams of Thomasville; brother Clifton Williams of Bainbridge and sister, Jessie Nell Owens of Chattahoochee, Fla. Allen and Allen Funeral Home in Thomasville was in charge of arrangements.
