The ceremony was performed by Rev. Kaiser, pastor of the above church, with a few close friends and relatives present. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. McGahee of Valdosta, and is a very talented and accomplished young lady, graduating from Agnes Scott, standing very high in her class. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Belcher of this city, and is very well known here where he was a prominent member of the younger social set of the city. He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1930 later going to the University of Georgia where he received his degree. Mr. Belcher was very active at the University and was a member of the Landa Chi Alpha Fraternity there. The young couple are now making their home in West Point, Miss., where Mr. Belcher is a Lieutenant in a Civilian Conservation Camp.
