   In the name of God, Amen;
   I MARTHA BROCK of said state & County being of advanced age and
   knowing that I must shortly depart this live, deem it right and proper
   both in respect myself, and my family that it should make disposition
   of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me do
   therefore make this my lst will and Testament, hereby revoking all
   others heretofore made by me.
   Item 1st
   I give and bequest to my daughter SARAH HARRELL, six Negroes; May a
   woman about twenty five and her children, Dennis, a boy and Augustus,
   a boy and Isaac, a boy and Betsy a woman about twenty one years of age
   and Tice a boy about twenty years of age. The Negroes with increase to
   her and the heirs of her body forever for their sole use therefit.
   Free from the control, debts, and (?cuintrances) of her husband.
   Item 2
   I give and bequeath and devise to my son JOHN BROCK, One hundred acres
   of land of Lots No. 60 in the Sixteenth District and one hundred and
   twenty five acres of lotNo. 61 in the Sixteenth Dist.
   both------------------ Decatur County also Two Negro ----------- Alla,
   a woman about 18 years of age and One mare horse fifteen years old and
   her colt about two year oldname ?Ivetok -- all for his --- and benefit
   and their increases
   Item 3
   I give and bequeath to my daughter MARY BELL four Negroes, Tiney,
   about thirty two years old and Antinant, about twenty six year old
   both women. And Fillie about two years old a girl and Martha Jane, two
   years old and eight hundred dollars and their increase and to her
   heirs of her body forever for their sole use, benefit . Free from the
   control, debts and encumbrances of her husband.
   Item 4
   I give and bequest to my daughter ELIZABETH HARRELL, Negro woman named
   Nancy, about thirty four year old and Ned, a boy about sixteen years
   old , one Negro girl, Caroline, about fourteen years old. Henry a boy
   twelve years old, Charles a boy ten years old. Said Negroes with
   increase to her and the heirs of her body forever for the sole use and
   benefit for from the control, debts and encumbrances of her husband.
   Item 5
   I give and Bequest to my daughter NANCY SWICORD. Jack, a man about
   thirty four years old and a Negro woman, Sally about forty five years
   old and Lucinda, a woman twenty four years old and Julia Ann about
   eight years old and Louisa about five years old and Francis Marian, a
   boy one year old. Said Negroes with increase to her and the heirs of
   her body forever for their sole use and benefit, free from the control
   debts, and encumbrance of her husband.
   Item 6
   I give and bequest to my Grand children, JANE PARKER& L--?) Parker,
   the sum of three thousand dollars to be raised by my effects and in
   ?care are of the children should die the ___ to go to the other, the
   said money to go to children of the heirs of their body.
   Item 7
   The section of my property I appoint to be sold by my executor in
   Twelve months time and the proceeds of that sale to be collected and
   after paying Three thousand dollars to the Guardian of JANE PARKER &
   LUTITIA PARKER, the balance to be equally divided with the exception ,
   ELIZABETH HARRELL, the heirs of my body.
   Item 8
   I do hereby conctiticle and appoint my son, JOHN BROCK, executor of
   this my last will and testament.

   names hereunto in the presence of said testatrix at her special
   instance requested and of each other - Dec 22-1854

   Before me J Law, ordinary of said Court , in open court and at the
   regular term thereof, came JOHN BROCK, the exactor of the last will
   and Testament of MARTHA BROCK, late of said County and -----------
   before me the said last will and Testament for probate record of the
   same and him per Thomas Mashburn and Bud C Thomas, and Haney -
   Mashburn, the subscribing witnesses to the same into the witness
   aforesaid being sworn say that they saw MARTHA BROCK , the
   testa--------- sign, seal declare and publish the written instrument
   out the same ------persecuted as her last will and testament , freely
   ,voluntarily and of her own accord and without any compulsion or
   influence whatever. that at the time of the excention of said will
   said Test--- was of sound disposing mind, memory that deponents signed
   said will as witness in the presence of this testauiz ana at ---
   special instance and request and in the presence of each other_-
