It is overgrown and the graves are not easily visible from the road and in fact when I first transcribed this cemetery it was in the summer when the kudzu was in full bloom and I missed several graves. Having gone back in January it was much easier to see what few graves there are. There are seven field stones that are unmarked. Franklin Garrett gives the names in his 1931 transcription. In 1931 there were only two marked graves and in 2001 there is only one. The remaining grave is that of Parthenia Jones. The stone can barely be read but Mr Garrett shows the stone as saying: In Memory of PARTHENIA A. JONES Wife of Z.H. Jones Born Jan. 20th 1824 Died Dec. 31st 1885 __________ Safe in the arms of Jesus Sleep loving wife sleep while they Husband o’er thee weep. retranscribed by Dave & Mary West Jan. 2001
