Dancing Party
The dancing party given Thursday evening by Miss Jeanette Harwell and Miss 
Ruth Williams at the home of Dr. and Mrs. W L Champion in Druid Hills was an 
interesting event among the younger set. 

The entire lower floor was artistically decorated with Christmas foliage.  The 
bright Yletide suggestions were carried out in decorating the table, where 
punch was served, which was adorned with a large silver basket of poinsettias 
and holly. 

The punch bowl arranged in the dining-room was banked with oranges and grapes. 

Miss Harwell received her guests wearing a gown of black net over satin with a 
corsage of Parmar violets and white hacienths.  Miss Williams was gowned in 
black lace. 

Assisting in entertaining were Mrs. W L Champion, Mrs. J S Gaines and Mrs. W L 
Allison. 

The guests were: Miss Lucille Anderson, Miss Harriet Gilmer, Miss Julia Glenn, 
Miss Dorothy Brogden, Miss Grace Adams, Miss Grace Mills, Miss Tompky 
Tompkins, Miss Elizabeth Dennis, Miss Doris Walker, Miss Frances Phillips, 
Miss Ann Robins, Miss Sue Lou Harwell, Miss Sarah Smith, Miss Frances Cooper, 
Miss Evelyn Smith, Pauline Gault. Miss Inez Sargeant, Miss Ruth Jones, Miss 
Ruth Williams, Miss Louise Fife, Miss Janette Harwell, Messrs. Huck Hamby, 
Kenneth Cooper, Raymond Mitchell, Lamar Mills, J C Fife, Jr., Cress  Clarke, 
Earl Coursey, Floyd C Evans, Robins, Harry Gault, Randolph Jones, Stacy 
Barrington, Charles Smith, Jerry Norris, Norman White, Clifford Barber, Paul
