C J Harrell officiating. His death followed a long illness. Mr. Hardiman was widely gnown [sic] in business and fraternal circles and was one of the two living members of the first class of Shriners initiated in the Yaarab temple. With his death, G B Saunders is the only other living member of the group who formed Atlanta's first Shrine membership. Mr. Hardiman and Mr. Saunders were highly honored by the yaarab Shrine at its last meeting when both men were made life members of the local temple. Mr. Hardiman was a musician of note, having been organist in several Atlanta churches and a member of the Yaarab temple's "Million Dollar Band." Mr. Hardiman is survived by his widow, his mother, Mrs. R U Hardiman; two brothers, U G and M L Hardiman; two sister, Mrs. N A Houser and Mrs. Jesse Thompson.
