CH Jackson
Funeral for Charles H Jackson, 86, of 2800 Springdale Road SW, will be held at 
1 pm Saturday at the graveside in Wisteria Cemetery, Union Point, with the Rev 
Robert C Black officiating.
Mr Jackson, who was the last survivor of Company C, 3rd Georgia Regiment, which 
saw action in the Spanish-American War, died Tuesday.
He was a native of Stone Mountain, a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church and a 
retired engineer for Sourthern Wood Preserving Co.
Survivors are a son, Charles H Jackson, Jr of Atlanta; a sister, Mrs George 
Hendry of Newberry, SC; a greanddaughter and two great granddaughters.
