I Ann R. Ragan of DeKalb County and State aforesaid being of sound mind and memory in view of the uncertainty of Life deem it right and proper to make this my last Will and Testament that is to say. First: I desire and direct that my body be taken at my death to the City of Columbus Georgia and there decently buried by the side of my husband, the lat Major A.B. Ragan deceased and to enable my executor hereinafter appointed to carry out this part of my last WIll and Testament, I authorize him to borrow at tonce on the faith and credit of my estate enough money to pay all expenses attending my burial as aforesaid: The ? of my brother in law Erasmus Ragan now buried in the cemetery in Atlanta Ga. I wish disinterred taken to Columbus Ga. and there buried in the same burial ground and the body of my half brother John T. Ector, I wish carried at his death to the City of Columbus Ga and buried in the same place. And my executor will execute this portion of my Will at ? the expense of my estate. My soul I trust will return to rest with God who gave it as I hope for salvation and happiness in the life to come through the merits and atonements of the blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Second: I hereby expressly revoke and annul all Will or Wills by me heretofore made making, declaring and publishing this as my Last Will and Testament. Third: I hereby give to my newphew - Frank M. Ector of Birmingham Alabama two thirds (2/3) in value of all my property to have and to hold the same forever in fee simple. Fourth: I give to my half brother John T. Ector the one sixth (1/6) part of all my property in value to have and to hold the same for and during his natural life and at his death the same shall go to and vest in said Frank M. Ector in fee. And should said John T. Ector desire to sell his legacy or share of my estate under this Will he shall give said Frank M. Ector the refusal to buy or not the same as they may agree and in the management of said one sixth the said John T. Ector shall consult and advise with the said Frank M. Ector who I know will be his friend and well wishes. Fifth: I give to my newphew, Wiley B. Ector of the State of Florida the other one sixth (1/6) in value of all my property the same to have and hold for and during his natural life, and at this death the same to vest in any child or children he may leave surviving him in fee: But if he leaves no child or children then said one sixth shall vest in ? Frank M. Ector in fee: If the said Wiley B. Ector should leave neither wife, child nor children then at this death said one sixth shall go to and beong to said Frank M. Ector in fee: Sixth: My mineral reserve interest in land lont fifty four in the eleveth district of originally Troup now the County of Merriweather Georgia I regard valuable and my executor and legatees will not fool it away or sell it for a pittance + They may owrk it or leave it. Seventh: I wish my executor to pay all my just personal, individual debts such as I myself may owe at the time of my death. Eighth: I hereby appint my friend Margenius A. Bell of Atlanta Georgia Exector of this my last Will and Testament: and having confidence in his integrity and judgement. I authorize and empower him to sell any and all of my property real and personal at public or private sale and upon such terms as he may think best and to give to the purchasere or purchasers all proper and necessary deeds of conveyance upon the full payment of the purchase money and all this he may do without any order or decree from the court of Ordinary or any other Court: And I relieve my said executor from making and returning an inventory and appraisment of my estate and from making any and all returns and settlements with the Court of Ordinary or other Court But in the management and sale of my property under my Will my said executor will counsel and advise with the said Frank M. Ector and he will do the same in all other matters connected with my estate and the execution of my Will. Ninth: I have intentionally omitted to name the children of any of them of my brother Augustus L. Frant deceased because I have no bounty or property to give them or either of them: I bear them no malice, but my affections and the prompting of duty force me to make others already named my only legatees. I desire the said Grant children to have no part or share of my estate. In testimony where of I Ann R.
