WILTON PHILIP COBB R. F. BURCH, SR. Mr. R. F. Burch, Sr., is one of the three living Confederate Veterans in this county at present. He was born and reared in this county, being the grandson of Joseph Burch, who was killed by the Indians. Mr. Burch served throughout the war in Company I, Fourth Georgia Cavalry. He is now about eighty-six years of age, and as active as a much younger man. He is one of the large and successful planters in Dodge County. He married Millie Ann Harrell, and a few years ago they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Their children are: M. D., C. C., W. A., M. A., John G., R. F., Jr., Mattie Lou, Annie Maude.
