                    John T. Carroll of Gresston Dies
 John Thomas Carroll, 10 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Carroll of 
Gresston, died in a local hospital at an early hour Tuesday following a 
lingering illness, which began some time ago when he fell on a piece of glass.
 In the fall, the youth's intestines were punctured by the glass. 
Complications developed and his death resulted. In addition to his parents, 
John is survived by three sisters, Mildred, Catherine, and Marion Carroll; 
three brothers, Jack, Holland, and Bobbie Jean Carroll, all of Gresston.
 Funeral services were conducted at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Wednesday 
afternoon by Rev. O. C. Babb. Casket bearers were Ralph Parker, Lamar 
Williams, Roy Mullis, and R. T. Mullis. Interment was in Bowers Cemetery.

These Dodge County Newspaper Clippings published by Tad Evans. John was born 
22 Apr 1931 to Loyd Lee Carroll and Pauline Holland Carroll who are also 
buried in Bowers Cemetery in Dodge County.
