                    MRS. CHANCE
   The funeral service for Mrs. Kate R. Chance, was held Wednesday in the 
chapel of Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home, with burial in Orphan Cemetery.  
Rev. Ovid Hooks and Rev. Buford Tanner officiated.
   Pallbearers were Hunter Hilliard, Jim Chance, Jerry Beck, Jack Beck, Ronnie 
Lee and Charles Williams.
   Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Fred Beck, of Route 2, Eastman; two 
sons, Fred Chance, Route 2, Eastman, and J. K. Chance, of Fayette; one sister, 
Mrs. Bert Cofield, of Barnesville, one brother, C. T. Rowland, of Cadwell. Six 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

Compiler Notes: Mrs Kate Rowland was the wife of: the late Henry C. Chance of 
Dodge County, Georgia.
