The Lord in His goodness has seen fit to take from our midst old Uncle Johnnie A. Coleman, who died on July 13th at 12 o’clock. He had lived to the ripe old age of 81 and leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his death. The following are his sons and daughters: Messrs. W.C. and H. B. Coleman; Mesdames J. D. Rozier, J. A. Mullis, W. D. Mullis, J.T. Brasewell and J. A. Williams. Uncle Johnnie lived to see all of his children married and to see great grandchildren of his youngest child, and he was the first of this family to die. He was a man whom everyone liked, honest and upright. He always paid his debts and stayed at home. A host of friends are left to sympathize with his family.
