MRS. GRIMSLEY'S BODY BURIED HERE.
The body of Mrs. A. P. Grimsley, who died at the home of her daughter. Mrs. T. 
S. Vinson, in Cochran Sunday afternoon, was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery here 
Monday afternoon beside the grave of her husband who died 45 years ago.
Mrs. Grimsley was 88 years old and had been active in religious and civic 
affairs of Cochran for many years. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. T. 
S. Vinson and Mrs. Alice M. Taylor. Of Cochran; Mrs. M. D. Jamerson and Mrs. 
J. F. Register, of Atlanta; Mrs. W. W. Poole, of Hawkinsville; one son. Mr. C. 
A. Grimsley, of Sarasota, Florida, and one brother, Mr. W. S. Waite, of 
Eastman.

Caroll of Dewey Rose, Ga. We can add the following "Ancestry list his name as 
James Hartswell (Hartzl) Grimsley married Anna Phoebe Waite 23 January 1866 in 
Macon., Bibb Coiunty., Georgia and born 23 Sep 1843 in Lorraine, Jefferson 
County., NY and died 3 Nov 1931 in Cochran, Bleckley,Ga with burial at 
Woodlawn cemetery.
