Howell, died July 1 at her home, Eastman Route Six. The body was buried in Mt. Horeb Cemetery ( death certificate states Bowers Cemetery) on July 2, Rev. J. B. Evans conducting the funeral service. The following served as pallbearers: J. B. Mullis, J. C. Mullis, John Warren, Thurmond Dunlap, Joe Ward, and W. H. Howell. A program of song was rendered by Giddens quartette with Mr. J. B. Mullis as tenor. Funeral arrangements were in charge of J. W. Peacock Company. Mrs. Howell was 25 years old and is survived by her husband and five children, one of the children being an infant who was born just prior to her death. Additional Comments: Emmie was born abt 1904. Her husband was Jim H. Howell who is also buried in Bowers Cemetery. Georgia death certificate #18162K.
