Services will be held at 3pm today in Gresston Baptist Church in Dodge County. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery. The Rev. Benny Braddy and the Rev. Darrell Quinn will officiate. Mrs. Howell, a native of Dodge County, had lived in Cochran for ten years. She was a homemaker and a member of Gresston Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ray Smith and Miss Evelyn Howell, both of Cochran, Mrs. Uley Tripp of Gresston and Mrs. Juanita Dinardi of New York, NY; two sons, James Howell of Gresston and Emmis Howell of Milan; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Livingston of Macon, Mrs. B. S. Taylor of Offerman and Mrs. O. H. Wheelis of Fitzgerald; two brothers, the Rev. John B. Kelly of Inverness, Fla. and Marvin Kelly of The Rock; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. The body will be placed in the church at 2pm today. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Smith of Lewis Street in Cochran. Mathis Funeral Home of Cochran has charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Mae was born 15 May 1900 to John Marian Kelly and May Jane Tillman Kelly. Georgia death certificate #005065. Her husband was Jim H. (James) Howell who is also buried in the Bowers Cemetery.
