MRS. LANCASTER DIES AT HER HOME IN RHINE.

Mrs. Fannie Lancaster, greatly loved woman of Rhine, died at her home Saturday 
after having been ill three days of a stroke
of paralysis.

She was the daughter of the late John B. and Mary Studstill, pioneer residents 
of Telfair County.  The family moved to Dodge in her early life, and she had 
spent the balance of her life here.  She was 75 years old and a member of 
Rhine Methodist Church.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at Rhine Methodist Church by 
Rev. Ed Nottinghamm.  Hymns were sung by Mrs. J. C. Maloy, Mrs. Dewey Stuckey, 
Mrs. Randall Studstill, Mrs. T. K. Carroll, C. E. Dent and Tom Hilliard, 
accompanied by Mrs. J. C. Williams.

Pallbearers were Talmadge, Randall, Ralph, Burt and Paul Studstill and John 
Martin, Jr.  Interment was in Rhine Cemetery.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by the following: one daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Bowen, 
Rhine; Three brothers, W. B. Studstill and J. D. Studstill, Rhine; and J. C. 
Studstill of Abbeville; her sisters are Mrs. Viola Harrell, Eastman; Mrs. H. 
L. Peacock and Mrs. Minnie Pittman, Rhine.  Also surviving are six 
grandchildren.

her husband, Henry Houston Lancaster  (1866-1940) .  His tree states he was 
born in Telfair County.  But this family was a Pioneer Family of Pulaaski
