D. C. LIVINGSTON.

Mr. Dan C. Livingston, of Eastman, Route Four, a pioneer citizen of Dodge 
County, died very suddenly at his home Saturday afternoon, heart trouble being 
assigned as the cause of death.  Mr. Livingston had just eaten a hearty 
dinner, and evidently feeling ill, lay down on his bed, dying immediately 
afterwards.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Sunday afternoon by Rev. J. B. 
Evans.  Songs were sung by Mrs. Homer Maddox and Mrs Leroy Wiggins.

The following served as pallbearers:  C.C. Rogers, H. W. Southerland, Ivey 
Peaco0ck, G.R. Hendrix, H. W. Smith, and Clark Willcox.

Interment was in Lovely Grove Cemetery with Masonic honors.

Mr. Livingston was 74 years old and is survived by his wife and the following 
children:  Mrs. A. H. Jones,  Mrs Frank Hrrell,  Mrs. J. W. Jones, Eastmn, 
Route four;  Perry Livingston  and  Mrs. W. L. Taylor,  Chauncey,  B. J. 
Livingston, Murray Cross, Alabama; Dr. D. M. Livingston, Cedartown; Ross 
Livingston.

Compiler Notes:  Mr. Daniel "Dan" C. Livingston was born 29 November 1855 in 
Pulaski (now Dodge) County, Georgia and died Saturday afternoon on the 21 May 
1932 at home in Dodge County, Georgia.  On 11 February 1875 in Dodge County, 
Georgia, he married Mary Mullis the daughter of Alfred Mullis of Dodge County, 
Georgia.
