                   MRS.  MARTIN  IS  BURIED  HERE.

Mrs. Fannie M. Martin of Dade City, Florida, who died there May 8, was buried 
at Mt. Horeb Church Sunday afternoon.  Services were conducted by Rev R. G. P. 
McKinnon.  Interment was in the church cemetery,

Mrs. Martin had been ill with a heart ailment.  She formerly was a Dodge 
County citizen, but had resided in Florida the past 15 years.

Surviving are two sosn, Charles C. Martin, Empire  and  Willie G. Martin, 
Pensacola, Florida;  three daughters,  Mrs. Zelia Tripp, Eastman;  Mrs. 
Florence Pitts, Dade City, Florida;  an  Mrs. Mamie Brown, Center Hill, Pa.

Mrs Martin was 88 years old and a member of the Dubois Baptist Church.

Compiler Notes:  I’ve yet to learn Frances “Fannie” M.  Martin maiden name.  
She is buried next to her husband James Thomas Martin at Bowers Cemetery also 
know as Mt. Horeb Cemetery.  She was born 20 May 1858 in Georgia and died 8 
May 1947 at Dade City, Pasco County, Florida.  She and her husband are listed 
in the Dodge County Cemetery Book on page 370.  This was published in 2005 by 
the Wiregrass Genealogical Society at Eastman, Georgia.

Also note error Mrs. Mamie Brown, Center Hill, Pa.  It should read Center 
Hill, Fla.  This is base on the obituary of her husband where a  like entry 
was found.
