D.A. McIntosh Chauncey, Ga., Dec. 29. - Hon. D.A. McIntosh died at his home, "Severn," near Chauncey, Ga., last Sunday on the twenty-fifth anniversary of his marriage. He was a newspaper man for many years and a Confederate veteran. He leaves a wife and two children, Daniel McIntosh and Mrs. J.C. Wilkes. All who remain of the family of twelve brothers and sisters are: Hon. H.M. McIntosh, editor Albany Herald; R.C. McIntosh, Quitman; Mrs. A.J. Sparks, Macon; Miss Mattie McIntosh, Boston. He was a man who was loved by every one for his gentle, kindly disposition and uprightness, and he will be sadly missed by those whom he has left behind. He was connected with the Macon Telegraph at one time, and was a good newspaper man.
