DODGE COUNTY NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS Volume III. 1908-1919 By: Tad Evans See Pages 1259 & 1260 Thursday, March 21, 1912 MR. CHAS. F. MULLIS DIED WEDNESDAY. Was Prominent Farmer of Pulaski County, And a Son Of Mr. John A. Mullis Of Near Chester. Mr. Chas. F. Mullis, a prominent farmer of Pulaski County, who resided near Bembry’s Mill, passed away at his home Wednesday morning after an illness of typhoid-pneumonia. Mr. Mullis was about forty-five years old, and is survived by his wife and seven children. His remains will be interred this afternoon in Hawkinsville. Mr. Mullis was a member of one of the largest and most prominent families in Dodge County, and was well known and highly esteemed by a large circle of friends, having been coroner of this county for a number of years and otherwise prominently associated with our people. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias and Woodmen of the World. In his death the community in which he lived and his county have lost a good and valuable citizen. He was a son of Mr. John A Mullis of near Chester, and has lived nearly all of his life in Dodge County, but moved to Pulaski about three years ago.
