Pruett, of Eastman, will be held Wednesday, February 10, at 2 p.m., in the Bay Springs Free Will Baptist Church with internment in the church cemetery. Rev. Howard Faircloth and Rev. Ronnie Moore will officiate. Pallbearers are Gary Driggers, Clyntis Pruitt, Gerald Smith, Darrell Butler, Hollis Smith, Willard Smith, Chad Smith, and Kevin Rogers. Glenda and Wayne Fleming are musicians for the service, Mrs. Pruett died February 8, in the Dodge County Hospital. Born March 7, 1899, Mrs Pruett was a lifelong resident of Dodge County and the oldest member of Bay Springs Free Will Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Frank Butler and Emily Coleman Butler and the widow of Hughie Pruett. Survivors include one daughter, Mizelle P. Clayton and son-in-law, Bob Clayton of McRae; one son, H.D. Pruitt and daughter-in-law, Eleanor Pruitt of Empire; a sister, Jewel B. Smith of Eastman; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, E.B. Pruett of Eastman; several nieces and nephews.
