PEACOCK -- Mr. Leroy S. Peacock, 66 of 5993 Lannie Rd. died Friday suddenly. 
Mr. Peacock was born in Dodge County, Ga. and lived in Jacksonville for the 
past 13 years. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, 
Mrs. Vera Peacock; 3 daughters, Mrs. Lou Millan, Misses Diane and Patricia 
Peacock; 6 sons, William, Clifton, General, D. L., Monroe, and Roy Peacock; 5 
sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Howard, Mrs. Willie Mae Peacock, Mrs. Eddie Jones, Mrs. 
Effie Leslie, and Mrs. Estelle Rogers; 1 brother, General Lee Peacock; and 5 
grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30AM Monday in the Chapel of Peeples 
Funeral Home, 2220 Soutel Dr. near Lem Turner Rd with Rev. Preston Ponce 
officiating. Burial will be Tueaday in Coleman Cemetery, Eastman, Ga.



Additional Comments:
Leroy was born 29 Jan 1913 to William Henry Peacock and Mary Priscilla Coleman 
Peacock who are also buried in the Coleman Cemetery.
