DC# 18988)in Dodge County and is buried at Old Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery. From The Times-Journal, Eastman, Georgia 8-18-1949 Front Page Heart Trouble Causes Death Of Mrs. Watts Mrs. Amelia Watts, 78, of Eastman, Rte. 1, died at her home Saturday of heart trouble. She had been ill several months. She was a native of Laurens, but had lived in Dodge the past 20 years. She was a member of Old Daniel Baptist Church. Services were held at Old Daniel Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. W. Dunn. Interment was in the churchyard cemetery. Horne Funeral Home incharge. A program of song was rendered by Jno. A. Bowen, Carolyn Bowen, Mrs. J. M. Bowen and Terrell Pace accompanied by Mrs. Paul Hall. Pallbearers were John L., John D., and Clarence Law, Russell N. Ross, A. J. Wilson and John W. Campbell. Surviving are one son, T. D. Watts of Rte 1; two brothers, Sim Lynn of Woodclift and Bogie Lynn of Thomasville.
