B. {Mattie} Willcox, 86, of Eastman, was held Thursday in the chapel of horne Funeral Home with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Graham Bowen officated. Pallbearers were Tom Lister, John Daniel Law, Russell Ross, Jim C. Law, Paul Hall, Clarence Burch, Robert Harrell and Hugh Maloy.Mrs. Willcox died January 23, in the dodge County Hospital. A life long resident of Dodge County, Mrs. Willcox was a charter member of New Daniel Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. A. J. Lowery, Sr., of Hazelhurst, four sons, John D. Willcox, Jimmy Lee Willcox and Tommy J. Willcox, all of Eastman; and William N. Willcox of Hawkinsville; one brother T. W. Thompson of Atlanta. Nine grandchildren also survive. Horne Funeral Home was in charge of arrangemnts. Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: Mattie Thompson was the wife of the late James Buchan Willcox. He was some time called Jim Buck Willcox.
