WILLCOX

The funeral for Jimmy Lee Willcox, 76, of Eastman, were held Friday in the 
First Baptist Church with Dr. James Leonard and Rev. Hugh Canterbury 
officiating.  Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mitchell Coffee, Jim Green, Jim Culpepper, Davis Smith, 
Daniel Smith and Ed Purvis.  Annelle Pace was organist.

Mr. Willcox died February 6, in the Dodge County Hospital.

A member of the First Baptist Church of Eastman, Mr. Willcox was a member of 
Eugene Smith Lodge No.279, F&AM; and Al Sihah Temple in Macon.  He was a 
member of the Eastman Rotary Club, president of Fathers Inc; retired 
restaurant owner and member of the board of directors of the American Cancer 
Society.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jacqueline S. Willcox of Eastman; one 
daughter, Mrs. Carole W. Haynes of Smyrna, Tenn; one son, Jim L. Willcox of 
Athens; one sister, Mrs. Margaret W. Lowery of Hazelhurst, three brothers, 
John D. Willcox, Tommy Willcox, both of Eastman; and William Willcox of 
Hawkinsville.  Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

Horne Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
