WILLIAMS

The funeral for Mrs. Sara P. Williams, 66, of Rte. 2, Milan, was held March 
17, in El Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Earl Parkerson and Rev. Tommy 
Land officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ernest Wrye, Roger Yawn, Wayne Smith, Earl Thomas, Stan 
Jones, Wayne Hilliard and Mickey Martin.  

Bob Attaway was musician.

Mrs. Williams died March 15, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin.

A lifelong resident of Dodge County, Mrs. Williams was a member of  El Bethel 
Baptist.  She was the daughter of the late James E. Parkerson and widow of 
Sylvester Williams

Survivors include one daughter, Gina W. Cook, of Milan, two sons, Sammy 
Williams and Rev. Eddie Williams, both of Milan, her mother Kate G. Parkerson 
of Eastman, one sister, Josphine P. Smith of Eastman; two granddaughters, 
Shelley Williams and Jennifer Williams, both of Milan, three grandsons, Jason 
Williams, Sam Williams and Zach Cook, all of Milan, one great-grandson, Tyler 
Williams of Milan.

Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Parkerson  &  Kate Glisson.  Her mother was born in Hancock County, Georgia
