Sarah Elizabeth (Sallie) Harp (parents Andrew Jackson Harp and Matilda Taylor) 
was born February 3, 1879 in Dooly County Georgia.

Sarah Elizabeth (Sallie) married Rufus Erastus Robertson on February 12, 1899 
at the home in Pinehurst, GA by John Calhoun. Rufus Erastus (parents 
James/Madison Robertson and Sarah Elizabeth Williams) was born February 3, 1872 
in Knoxville, GA. He died March 2, 1935 in Unadilla, GA (Dooly County).  
   
Sarah inherited 100 acres of land in Pinehurst, GA from her mother, Matilda 
Taylor Harp. Sarah's brother, William Harp, helped her husband, Rufus, to build 
the house on the land that she had inherited.  Her family and friends called 
her Sallie. She lived her entire life in Dooly County Georgia, where, she was a 
well respected woman of her community.  She joined the Harmony Baptist Church 
in April of 1948.  

She was a very religious, hard working woman, and very involved with Union 
School. She raised chickens and ducks on the farm.

Sarah died at her home at Route 2, Pinehurst, Georgia on December 16, 1952.  
Her son, Henry, inherited the farm after she died.  Sarah is buried next to her 
husband, Rufus Robertson at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Unadilla, 
GA.  She belonged to the Eastern Star.
  
Sarah Elizabeth (Sallie) Harp and Rufus Erastus Robertson had the following 
children:
 
  1. Olivia Margaret Robertson was born November 9,1899 in Unadilla, GA (Dooly 
County). She died July 18, 1937 in Laurens County, GA.    

  2. Lessie Robertson was born February 24, 1901 in Pinehurst, GA. She died 
February 10, 1973 in Hawkinsville, GA (Pulaski County).    

  3. Myrtice Robertson was born July 17, 1904 in Unadilla, GA (Dooly County). 
She died February 10, 1988 in Ocean Springs, MS.    

  4. Gladys Ruth Robertson was born February 23, 1912 in Unadilla, GA. (Dooly 
County). She died June 15, 1983 in DeKalb, GA .    

  5. Thomas Henry Robertson was born June 25, 1914 in Unadilla, GA (Dooly 
County). He died September 8, 1989 in Pinehurst, GA (Dooly County).    

  6. Agnes Winifred Robertson was born July 27, 1918 in Unadilla, GA (Dooly 
County). She died July 8, 1995 in Pulaski, GA.
