Civil War Pension
This is one page of E.H. Thombley's Pension Application for his service in 
Company I 2nd Regiment Florida. The Pension states that he was badly wounded 
in the right arm at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 3rd, 1863. He further 
states that he was then taken as a prisoner of war and held at Fort Delaware 
until July of 1865. 

Additional Comments:
E.H. Thombley is the son of Thomas anb Sarah Thombley. He as well as his 
parents are buried at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Vienna, GA (Dooly County)
