Pension
This is one page of Richard M Goodroe's Civil War pension application. Richard 
enlisted as a private in Company A of the 30th Infantry Regiment on September 
25th, 1861. Richard was promoted to Corporal 3rd Class in 1862. According to 
his pension application Richard was wounded in combat at Salisbury, North 
Carolina and was in an Augusta, Georgia hospital at the close of the war.
