Cordele Sentinel August 14, 1903
                              BURGLARY at ARABI                               
                               14 AUGUST 1903
     Cordele is not the only town in South Dooly which suffers from burglars.
Tuesday night of last week one of the daring rascals entered three houses and
several yards at Arabi. Among the plunder which he captured was one trunk
belonging to Miss MAttie Watson and a watch of Mr. John Brown. The trunk was
found in Mr. R. A. Bedgood's cotton field with the bottom knocked out and akk
the contents missing. The burglar escaped.
