Jim Lowe, of Drayton, Dooly County, who was a good and brave Confederate 
soldier, come home during the war and married, returned to his post and after, 
peace was established, went bravely to work to rebuild his fortunes.  He also 
reared a family and had nine children up to last week when his wife presented 
him with three bouncing boys.  Mother and boys are doing well, and Jim is 
happy, saying that he will stop when he gets a regiment and he is the colonel 
of it.
