About noon, along came a couple of youths, who were also ready to go, and seeing the shining car parked near Causy's service station, they decided it would be a suitable vehicle for a week-end "cruise." Upon missing the car, the sheriff notified State authorities to be on the look out, and the joyride of twin brothers was interupted in Forsyth County Sunday afternoon. Corporal Beacham and Trooper Barron were cruising near Cumming when they noticed a car behind acting suspiciously. After it reluctantly passed when they slowed to almost a standstill, further unusual actions of the driver caused them to halt it. The occupants confessed it was the property of Sheriff Cos Vinson, of Dooly county, and that they had stolen it at Vienna several days before, the patrolmen sid. The pair gave their names as Thomas and William Trantham, of Asheville, N.C., stated they had skipped parole from a reform school and had been traveling in Florida in the stolen machine, the troopers stated. The car and twins were turned over to sheriff Luther Wheeler, of Forsyth County, to await arrival of Dooly COunty officers. Deputy Sheriff A. D. Peavy and Howell Porter went up, bringing car and the Trantham brothers back to the Dooly COunty jail.
