Hawkinsville Dispatch Thursday December 14th, 1893
Judge Summer Adams died at his home in this place last Friday night at 8 
o’clock after a few days illness of pneumonia. Judge Adams was in his 84th 
year of age at the time of his death, and was a native of North Carolina. He 
leaves six boys and five girls. His remains were buried at his old home in 
Dooly County.

Additional Comments:
Summer Adams is the son of Levin Adams and Winifred Edwards Adams. Summer was 
born in Pitt County, NC. At a young age he moved with his family to Laurens 
County, GA. In the mid 1840's he moved to Dooly County where he lived until 
moving to Pulaski County, where he died. Summer is buried at the Lilly City 
Cemetery in Dooly County.
