McCormick, aged about 80 years. She was the mother of Mr. D. G. McCormick, of this place,, and the remains were interred at the old family brial grounds in Pulaski County, on Saturday last. She had been member of the Primitive Baptist Church about fifty years and was highly esteemed for her many noble traits of character, Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: Mary Hardesty Cannon was born July 29, 1800, in Carteret County, North Carolina, the daughter of Jessee Cannon and Frances Hardesty.
