Vienna Man Found Dead
Vienna - Funeral services for Edgar Hollis Brit, 81-year old Vienna man found
dead in a ditch near his home Tuesday, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the
Vienna Baptist Church.
  Dr. L. C. Cutts and the Rev. D. C. Busell will officiate.  Burial will be in
Pineridge Cemetery.
  A coroner's  jury ruled Wednesday that Mr. Britt died of an accidental gunshot
wound.  A 22 caliber rifle was found near the body.
  Mr. Britt was a native and lifelong resident of Dooly County and a member of
the Vienna Baptist Church.
  Survivors include his wife; son, Joseph T. Britt, Winter Garden, Fla.; two
daughters, Mrs. Ann Holden, Winter Garden, Fla., and Mrs. Lena May Bellamy,
Corpus Cristi, Tex.
