Butler Formerly of this Place Another home has been robbed of a beautiful baby life. Katharine Royal, age one year, daughter of Prof. James M. and Katie Butler Royal, died at the home of her parents and grandparents at Dooling, Ga., Thursday morning last after a brief illness from pneumonia. This tiny blossom of humanity has been drooping from physical infirmities for several months and was not able to withstand the attack of disease that came upon it and like the April-kissed flower withered and died. Around its little life had been thrown all the parental affection to which we are subject, as well as the very best care, but this could not beguile it from drooping. The lifeless little form of Katharine was brought from Dooling to Butler by automobile Friday morning and laid to rest by hands of those who deeply sympathized with the bereaved ones. Rev. J.T. Adams conducted the funeral service at the grave and spoke words of tenderest sympathy and comfort. The music at the grave was sweet and beautiful, the choir singing several appropriate selections. Accompanying the remains to Butler were: Mr. and Mrs. Royal, Mrs. T.C. Butler and Mr. J.F. Plexico. For voluntary services and abundant kindnesses rendered by the latter he has the thanks of loved ones and friends. Card of Thanks We wish to thank our friends in Butler for the sympathy and kindness extended us in our bereavement. Mere words of thanks seem to pale into insignificance before such sympathetic friendship as was shown to us by Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Benns and Mrs. W.N. Benns during our brief sad stay in their homes. Sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Royal Mrs. T.C. Butler This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 2.3 Kb
