The Hawkinsville Dispatch date November 30, 1876

"Death of the Oldest Man in Dooly"
Mr. Zachariah Hall of Dooly County, died on the 7th day of November 1876, aged 
nintey one years. Mr. Hall was probably the oldest man in this part of Georgia, 
and for his services in the war of 1812 he received regularly a pension of $96 
per annum from the United States Government. He was born in South Carolina and 
removed to Dooly County about 30 years ago, and his connection with the 
Primitive Baptist Church was marked with consistency and zeal, and he leaves a 
good name for the heritage of his numerous posterity.His sons, daughters and 
grandchildren number probably nearly one hundred.
