Edward H Thombley was born November 22nd, 1837 and he passed away on July 
23rd, 1923. He is buried at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Dooly County, GA. 

Additional Comments:
Edward Thombley is the son of Thomas Thombley and Sarah Cross Thombley. Edward 
enlisted in the CSA on June 4th, 1861. He was wounded and captured at the 
Battle of Gettysburg on July 3rd, 1863. Edward was held as a POW at Fort 
Delaware until the close of the war.
