I therefore made by my last will and testament, hereby revoking & annulling all others heretofore made by me. Item First. I desire & direct that my body be buried in a decent & christianlike manner suitable to my circumstances & condition. My soul, I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it, as I hope for eternal salvation through the blessed Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, whose Religion I have professed & as I humbly trust have enjoyed for years. Item Second. I desire & direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my Executors here in after named as I am unwilling my creditors should be delaid of their rights, especially as there is no necessity of delay. Item Third. I give & bequeath to my son Wiley Pipkin & my grandson Wiley Samson Brantley the settlement of land where I now live provided my grandson Wiley Samson Brantly lives with his uncles or aunts by Mothers side, or with either of my Executors, but in the event that my grandson Wiley Samson Brantley does not live with his uncles or aunts by Mothers side or either of my Executors then in that case the whole of my estate is to belong to my son Wiley Pipkin & in case of my grandson Wiley Samson Brantly should die or not live with his uncles or uncles aunts or aunts by Mothers side or either of my Executors, then in that case the whole of my real estate is to belong to my son Wiley Pipkin; but in case he should live with his uncle or uncles aunt or aunts by Mothers side or either of my executors until he arrives to twenty one years, then in that case my grandson Wiley Samson Brantley is to be intitled to one half of all my real estate, the real estate consists of lots of land number 161, 192 in the 10th district of Dooly County and State of Georgia, also lot of land number 12 in the 14th district of the county & state aforesaid, except 14 acres off of lot number 161 including the head of Phillip & Samson Pipkin's mill pond making in the whole 593 1/2 acres be the same more or less. I also give to my son Wiley Pipkin my iron grey colt about nineteen months old. Item Fourth. The rest of my property after paying my debts of what ever kind it my be I give & bequeath to my daughters Eliza Pipkin, Winey Pipkin & Nancy Pipkin & my grandson William Moses Brantly provided the William Moses Brantly lives with his uncles or uncles aunt or aunts on Mothers side or wither of my executors until he arrives to twenty one years, but if he dies or leaves the connection by Mothers side or both of my Executors, then the part that would be coming to him to belong to the daughters above named & in case any one of the daughters above named should die, then in that case the other two living ones is to have his part & in case two of them die, the living one to have both of their shear and in case my Executors cannot make any equal division of my property what ever kind it may be, amongst those that I have thought proper to give it to, they are at their will & pleasure to sell my real or personal estate or any part thereof so as to carry into effect this my last will & testament & if they think proper that, is my Executors, they are to send such of those named in this will to school & sell anything that I have left to each for its schooling. My having all ready heretofore made provision for the rest of my sons & daughters that is I have given them as much as I think I should do in justice to the rest of my children. Item Fifth. I appoint my trusty friend Wiley Cobb guardian of all my minor children. Item Sixth. I constitute & appoint my friends, Wiley Cobb and Benjamin B. Hamilton Executors to this my last will & testament this December 14th 1851.
