LaRoque, in Albany a few days ago, of the six surviving members of the Albany Guards, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaRoque at dinner. Only six of over fifty gallant souls that marched away in '61 to do battle for the cause that was loved and lost. In the May-day of youth, they went to the wars, in the ideal of the November of life, but six are left to tell the story of their valor. Verily the veterans are going fast; let the young generation make their last days pleasant.
