Central St., were killed and several persons injured in a three-car collision on Newton Road yesterday morning, County Police Lt. R.L. Carter reported. The lawman said the injured included a 16-year-old girl, the driver of a 1966 sedan which ran headon into the Limbaugh car, who received lacerations of the right knee and a broken left foot. He said two younger brothers of the girl were examined at Phoebe Putney Hospital for minor injuries and dismissed. The lawman said a 1955 model station wagon driven by Burnice Wright, Negro, Rt. 2 Box 391 was traveling north on Newton Road, slowed for a left turn, and the 1966 model sedan, driven by the juvenile, whose name cannot be published under Georgia juvenile laws, swerved to avoid hitting the station wagon and crashed headon into the 1965 model car driven by Mr. Limbaugh. Carter said the '66 model struck the rear fender of the station wagon causing an estimated $300 damage. He estimated damage to the Limbaugh car at $2,500 and damage to the car driven by the juvenile at $5,000. The lawman said the juvenile would be charged with failure to yield the right of way and Burnice Wright would be charged with driving without a license. Mr. Limbaugh was a retired City employe, and Mrs. Limbaugh was retired from employment with Bob's Candy Company of Albany. Mr. and Mrs. Limbaugh are survived by a son, Marvin Limbaugh of Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr. Limbaugh's survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Quilla Mae Corbett of Albany and Mrs. C.C. Veasey of Sylvester, and two brothers, Nathan Driskell of macon and Autus Driskell of Reidsville, Ga. Mrs. Limbaugh is survived by six sisters, Mrs. S.N. Erwin and Mrs. Sam Townsend, both of Rome, Mrs. Sanford Scott and Mrs. Melvin Cromer, both of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. Marjorie Mayo of miami, Fla., Mrs. Eula Eilson of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Mary Handley of Savannah; three brothers, Sherman Casey and Robert Casey, both of Plant City, Fla., and James L. Casey of Conneaut, Ohio. The son is due to arrive in Albany Tuesday. funeral arrangements will be completed at that time and will be announced by Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors.
