All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ ** Albany Herald Aug 9, 1938 died Aug 8, 1938 "Mrs. Margaret Engram" Mrs. Margaret Engram, 47, died in the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock after having been ill several months. Mrs. Engram moved here eight years ago from Troy, Ala. and had made many friends who were grieved by news of her death. She lived at 410 Tift Ave. and was a member of the first Baptist church. In addition to her two children, Miss Helen Engram and Mr. James Engram, Mrs. Engram is survived by two brothers and a sister, Mr. W. B. Jones of Albany, Mr. W. P. Jones of Dalton and Mrs. H. J. Vardaman, of Catuala Georgia. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 5 o'clock in the chapel of the Albany Undertaking Company. The service will be conducted by the Rev. G. A. Cooper, pastor of the Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Messrs. W. D. Owens, C. H. Fuller, Lee Sterne, J. E. Tomlin, M. F. Turnipseed and Dorris Holt.
