Churchwell, 32, a native of Albany. The services were to be conducted by the Rev. C. E. Vines of Dublin. Interment was to follow in Riverside Cemetery. At the time of his death Mr. Churchwell was an employee of the County. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Cool Springs Baptist Church of Worth County. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Cordelia Vines of Dublin; three sisers, Mrs. M. C. Youngblood of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. M. T. Vines of Byron and Miss Willie Gertrude Churchwell of Milledgeville; a half-sister, Miss Dorothy Churchwell of Albany; two brothers, H. L. Churchwell of Byron and W. M. Churchwell of Los Angeles; a half-brother, James Churchwell of Albany and his step-mother, Mrs. Bertie Bales of Albany. Pallbearers were Horace Irvin, R. E. Ogletree, R. P. Wages, N. G. Thaggard, L. Q. Wingate, R. S. Howard, Jr., and Clayton Smith.
