She had lived in Putney for 12 years and attended the Byne Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Carlton Palmer, Pelham and Mrs. James Roberts, Germany; three sons, Percy, Putney, Coy of Albany and Eugene, San Diego, Calif; four brothers, Henry Hurst, Tifton, James Hurst, Denver, Col., Frank Hurst, Meigs and Joe Hill Hurst of Meigs. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Meigs Baptist Church. Dr. C. R. Pittard, pastor of the Byne Memorial Baptist Church and the Rev. Bryant Leverett, pastor of the Meigs Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Meigs Cemetery. The cortege will leave the residence in Putney at 9:45 a.m. Active pallbearers will be J. L. Gilmer, Local Hatcher, Lewis Hatcher, Bruce Pate, Rudolph Broach and Jimmy Jones.
