Born Aug 3, 1910 in Barrow County, he had been a resident of Albany for the last 30 years. For 20 years Mr. Wallace was a barber at Hotel Gordon barber shop, and was state barber examiner and past state board member of the barber and beautician examiners. Mr. Wallace was a member of Dougherty Lodge 591, F & AM 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason, member of the 32nd Club Hasan Shrine Temple and a member of the Christian Science Church. Survivors include his wife the former Miss Doris Moree of Moultrie; a daughter, Miss Toni Wallace of Albany; a son, Jimmy Wallace of Albany; five sisters, Mrs. H. F. Frost of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs Sam S. Gay of Portsmouth, Va., Mrs T. E. Glausier, Mrs. Sybil McGhee and Mrs. C. M. Crawford, all of Albany and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of the First Methodist Church by the Dr. J. Frederick Wilson. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
