"Raymond Land Succumbs Here"

W. Raymond Land, 55, of 1009 Mercer Ave. died this morning of and apparent heart
attack.
Mr. Land had been a resident of Albany for the last seven years. born June 25, 1908
in Worth County. He was the son of the late William White and Mary Ann Rebecca
Gwines Land. He was employed at the U. S. Marine Corps Supply Center. Mr. Land
was a member of the Eager Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lois I. Land of Albany; a son Randy Land, three
stepsons, Joe, Tommy and Steve Welch, all of Albany; three sisters, Mrs. G. C. 
Westbrook and Mrs. Mary Long both of Albany, and Mrs. Hazel Matthews of New York,
and a grandson Joe Welch Jr. of Albany.
Funeral services for w. Raymond Land will be held at 4:30 p.m. today in the 
Eager Street Church of Christ. Sam Hartline, minister and Douglas M.
Woodward, minister of the Lanett, Ala. Church of Christ will conduct the service.
Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
