Spillers, 60, of 110 Second Ave. died Sunday at his residence. Mr. Spillers was born Nov 22, 1903 in Worth County, the son of Susie Newton and Hirman Spillers. He moved to Lee County at the age of 9 and had been a resident of Albany and Dougherty County for the last three and a half years. Mr. Spillers was a retired farmer and a member of Thundering Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Spence of Sasser; two sons, Sam Spillers of Albany, and John Spillers, U. S. Marine Corps. Puerto Rico; three daughters, Miss Lucy Spillers, Mrs. Garnett Allen and Mrs. Mabel Baldwin, all of Albany; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Foy of Lee County, and three grandchildren. The funeral service of Nick C. Spillers, 60, of 110 Second Ave. who died Sunday will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Thundering Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. R. H. Forrester. Interment will follow in the Thundering Springs Cemetery.
