Mrs. Folsom Succumbs Here

Mrs. Sadie Preast Folsom of 1818 Moultrie Rd. died Saturday at Phoebe Putney
Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A native of Rome, she was born May 12, 1910, daughter of the late J. F. Preast
and Jimmie Lou Cline Preast. She had lived in Albany since 1955 and was a member
of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Hillary L. Folsom of Albany; two sisters; Mrs. Ruby
Davis of Moultrie and Mrs. Lenora Jones of Rome; three brothers; O. F. Preast
of Rome, J. F. Preast of Savannah and A. B. Preast of Moultrie and a number of
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Oaklawn Chapel Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
